Imprint 001 · Ownership & IP
You own
everything.
Code, design files, domain, hosting account, admin login. Transferred into your name on final payment — in writing, on paper. This page is the plain-English version of what’s in the contract.
The short answer
Bill of sale · six items
On final payment, each of these moves from us to you. In writing, confirmed by email, on paper if you ask.
Full repo on GitHub or your provider of choice. Transferred to your org on final payment.
Copy, images, files, exports. Yours during the build, yours after — no platform export limits.
Figma source, original artwork, fonts (where licences permit). Handed over with the repo.
Registered in your name from day one. We never sit between you and the registrar.
Your account, your billing card. We help set it up; we don't operate it as a middle layer.
Custom admin login is yours, not ours. We retain a developer login for support only — revocable any time.
What happens on final payment
We move the repo into your GitHub org (or any provider). Branch protection, deploy keys, your CI — all yours.
Setup, deploy, edit — written for a non-developer. Lives in the repo so it's never lost.
One Loom recording, ~10 minutes, walking through the admin + code. So your next dev or studio isn't starting cold.
Maintenance is a separate, opt-in agreement. Not part of the transfer, not a condition of it.
If you came from a builder
Hosted builders — AI tools, drag-and-drop, template platforms — are great for sketching. Less great for owning. Side-by-side reality:
If you’ve already built something on a builder of any kind — AI or otherwise — and want it ported, say so in the brief. We read the export and rebuild the parts worth keeping.
